Apple was in a rough place in the early 1990’s. In this recreation of the “Leave your Mark” campaign, I got rid of the typewriter font, replacing it with Apple’s signature Garamond.
I also played with older imagery, and interesting scenes to evoke the message of the reinterpreted “Make your Mark” slogan, encouraging creativity and selling the message: creativity happens on Mac.
While I don’t think this fits into Apple’s messaging and portfolio today, I had fun trying to reimagine yesterday, flawed as it may be.
Purpose: sell “creativity happens on Mac”.
Execution: Always learning.
